Who am I?

Hello! I am Gulsah. I call myself a UX enthusiast.

Going back to the start of the story, I was born and grew up in Istanbul. I studied English Literature at Bogazici University and started my carreer as Researcher in an executive recruitment firm. Since 2017, I have been working as People Experience Partner at Garanti BBVA Technology, the technology subsidiary of one of the leading banks in Turkey. 

During the pandemic, I decided to return back to academy and started my master’s degree in Communication Strategies at Galatasaray University. This is when I was introduced with User Experience Design. Since then, I have constantly been realising how appealing the topic is to me. 

I have completed a UX analysis of Netflix and bluTV (a local online broadcaster) and a group project from the ideation to high-fidelity prototyping, called ”Finally We are Full” , during my master’s degree. I completed my graduation thesis on Persuasive Technologies. Later, to gain expertise in UX, I enrolled to Parson’s School of Design’s UX/UI Certificate. My other projects, HR Nexus, Digital Book Club and GTNet are a part of this program.

As for the future, I aim to pursue a career in UX, with a focus on Research.
